About the American Psychiatric Association Membership Mailing List 
Thank you for your interest in the American Psychiatric Association (APA) Membership Mailing List. Please note, list rentals of the APA contain direct mail addresses only and are intended for the promotion of educational or scientific courses, seminars, meetings, recruitment initatives, books or products concerned with mental health or mental illness and its treatment, and pre-approved research studies or surveys. All direct mail pieces are subject to review and must be submitted to the APA for approval prior to list rental usage. The approval process is administered through an official review board. Approval of direct mail pieces is granted at its sole discretion.
The APA Membership Mailing List rental is customizable with regard to selected demographics. These demographics include Member Areas of Interest, Clinical Services, and Geographic Locations. For the counts please contact Oxana Myachina at 703-907-8553 or omyachina@psych.org. To place an order, complete the APA Membership Mailing List Order Rental Form. Please indicate all selection criteria on the lines provided to you. Please be advised that all orders are processed from our order form only. We do not refer to coversheets, purchase orders, or any other external documentation supplied for ordering information. In order to ensure your order accuracy, please annotate all pertinent information on the official APA order form.
Upon completion of your order form and direct mail piece approval, please fax all corresponding information to 703-907-1093, Attn: Oxana Myachina. Once received, order processing will take 5 to 7 business days. If you are ordering labels that require printing, please allow an additional 2 days for shipping. Available Mailing Lists and Sorting Options 
The APA provides mailing lists for the purpose of promoting educational or scientific courses, seminars, meetings, recruitment, books or products concerned with mental health or mental illness and its treatment. APA must approve mail pieces before order can be processed. The lists are sold for ONE-TIME use only by the requestor, not to be reproduced in any form or sold to another user. All orders must be used within an 8-week period of receiving the list. Our list may not be used to purchase phone numbers, fax numbers, and/or e-mail addresses for any purpose.
MAILING LISTS
1. APA Membership – 35,000 (approx.) including U.S. and other countries. Updated on a daily basis and includes psychiatrists, psychiatric residents, and medical students who are current APA members. For most recent breakdown by geographical locations, areas of interest, and clinical services, contact Oxana Myachina at 703-907-8553 or omyachina@psych.org.
2. Residency Training Directors – 530 (approx.) – 1 minimum order charge
3. Chairs of Department of Psychiatry – 140 (approx.) – 1 minimum order charge
SELECTIONS
Selections are available at a charge of $25.00 per 1,000 names for 3 selections. A charge of $10.00 per thousand is incurred for each additional selection. An additional fee of $10.00 per 1,000 names applies for orders requesting an nth name selection. Minimum selection charge is $60.00. Maximum number of selections is 20. Selection criteria include:
1. Areas of interest
2. Clinical services
3. Geographic locations by state and/or zip code range (first 3 digits of zip code)
Note: If U.S. only is checked on the order form it will include Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, APO’s, and FPO’s. There is no charge for this selection.
KEYCODE
Keycode is available at a charge of $10.00 per 1,000 names (per keycode). Minimum keycode charge is $30.00. A six-digit code of your choice may be displayed on each label.
FORMATS
No Bar Coding or CASS Certified Pre-Sort Available. Formats include:
1. Electronic Mail -- (ASCII, Delimited Text File) -- $175 per 1,000 names plus an additional flat email charge of $90.00.
2. 3.5 Floppy Disk -- (ASCII, Delimited Text File) -- $175 per 1,000 names plus an additional flat disk charge of $90.00 per disk. Note: Names over 18,000 will be placed on a zip disk, which requires a zip drive.
3. Avery 5160 Pressure Sensitive Labels -- $200 per 1,000 names.
Payment Terms 
MINIMUM CHARGE
Minimum charge of $400 applies to orders below 2,350 names (or 2,000 names on pressure sensitive labels) plus selection charges (if applicable) and shipping. No discounts on minimum orders.
PAYMENT TERMS
Payment terms are net 30 days. Orders from overdue accounts must be paid in full before new orders will be processed. Billing is based on the final counts, plus selection charges, flat fees and shipping charges. We do not allow credit for duplicates from other sources.
ORDER PROCESSING
After we receive your completed order form and sample piece, it will take us 7 to 10 working days to complete the order.
CANCELLATIONS
Orders may be cancelled 2 days prior to the date you request receipt of order and must be in writing on company letterhead. NO verbal cancellations are accepted. NO CANCELLATIONS or CHANGES will be accepted after APA has filled an order, except in the event of an APA error.
SHIPPING & HANDLING
Shipping charge is $40.00 per order (US only) via UPS Blue (2nd-Day service), $50.00 per order (US only) via UPS Red (Next Day service).

Nonprofit organizations 5%
Recognized list brokers 15%
Nonprofit membership organizations promoting educational or scientific courses,
seminars, or meetings 15%
Discounts do not apply to minimum orders.
Discounts do not apply to selection or keycode charges.
Only one discount per order. Proof of status is required for nonprofit organizations.
RATES & TERMS
Counts, Rates, and Terms are subject to change without notice. APA reserves the right to reject any order. The attached order form must be completed, signed, and accompany a sample of the mailing piece for APA approval. Only completed and signed order forms can be processed. List brokers are also required to use APA order form and must comply with all guidelines listed. Labels/disk used for survey questionnaires require approval by the APA Office of Research. Allow three additional weeks in addition to our standard processing time.
