Banner Advertising

• File size should not exceed 30K.
• GIF, animated GIF, or Flash.
• Animated files must stop after 3 rotations.
• Click link must be provided.
• No third party tags. Click links may be third party redirects.

CPM based on 100,000 impressions per month. Ad agencies receive a 15% discount off gross cost.
Ad units are IAB standard sizes and dimensions are in pixels.

E-mail Alerts

Table of Contents (all journals): $2,040
AJP in Advance (1st and 15th of month, AJP only): $1,800

• Table of Contents E-mail Alert is sent to an opt-in audience each time a new issue is posted online.
• AJP in Advance E-mail Alert notifies subscribers when American Journal of Psychiatry articles are published online, ahead of print.
• Up to ten lines of text, plus a URL or click link, with up to 70 characters per line including spaces.
• A 468 x 60 banner ad can be provided for HTML subscribers.
• No rich media or third party tags.
• Click links may be third party redirects.

Lead Time

Please allow three business days for standard creative and five business days for Flash ads prior to the campaign start date for testing and QA. E-mail Alert copy and link must be provided two weeks in advance of any scheduled run date. Signed contracts and cancellations must be received in writing two weeks prior to the campaign start date. All positions are available on a first come, first served basis

Online Advertising Policy

Advertising agency commission of 15% applies when payment is made within 30 days. Advertising agency and advertiser are equally responsible for payment of advertising. Payment terms net 30 with established credit. Prior to placement credit approval must be complete or prepayment will be required.
